There is a moment in time when my soul rests in perfect bliss and I know I'm exactly where I'm supposed to be. I feel it when my husband and I bust out the crazy silly dance skills in the kitchen, when I see my daughter smile and laugh, or when belting out my favorite worship songs at church. I have learned to recognize this feeling whenever it is present and I have a quiet reception in my heart every time I begin to experience the waves of peace crashing over my soul. It feels Ah-May- Zing! So now I surround myself with people and things that lend to these peaceful feelings - photography being one of them.
Photography isn't just a simple hobby to me; it is a passion in my heart. It's fueled by my desire to catch the most candid moment, inspired by the people I am focusing on, and fulfilled by capturing the emotions, the chemistry, and, above all else, the LOVE of one moment in time.
MY MISSION
Love is my mission. When I see a person accepting, or better yet, showing love, it hits to the core of my being. I believe love is life changing. I have known a wonderful love since my husband and I started dating in early 2006. But, I had never known my capacity to love until I met my daughter for the first time. In January of 2010, our daughter Addisyn was born, and in one look, one breath, and one second with her I knew my life would never be the same. I had been working a corporate lifestyle of 50 hour weeks, high- dollar clients, making good money, and pushing toward promotion with unyielding determination. Then, in the 12 weeks I had taken off work after delivery, I realized I couldn't let her go. The way my heart yearned for her when I was away let me know that our relationship and our love was stronger and more important than anything the corporate life could offer. After much prayer and a few discussions with my husband, we decided to turn a passionate hobby into a business based on love, and created Stacy Hart Photography and my blog: One More for Love.
I am a photographer and a blogger. Although, these titles don't define me, I am certainly proud to proclaim them as part of who I am. When I think about writing my "About Me", I think that it should be a definition of who I am, and I think I am better defined by the relationships I've made, broken, kept, rebuilt, and maintained. Plain and simple - I love people...which is why I love photographing people and why I have found my passion as a wedding, portrait and lifestyle photographer.
